A few things I work on:
Program Design: At Up & Up Creative, our team takes on unique projects in need of high-level event design, curation, & production. Let us know if you have an event or corporate retreat coming up and would like to collaborate.
Summit Impact: I spent most of the past decade overseeing programming @Summit and in 2020 I spun out the partner 501(c)(3) Summit Impact. As founder turned board member, I steward programs that support rising leaders to create a regenerative and equitable future. See our recent Annual Report here, and a few honest reflections from my time as founding ED posted here.
Strategy Consulting: I’m currently working with some amazing impact organizations on organizational strategy, program design, project management, and network engagement. I choose projects with intention and am open for discussions about high-integrity, values-aligned opportunities.
Business Coaching: Part by chance, earlier this year I began coaching a few friends on distilling their visions for their work, setting strategic objectives, and following through on their most important business goals. Reach out directly if you’d like to learn more and explore how I can support your work in 2024.
Brain-Share Email Newsletter: As part of the Harvard Mind, Brain, and Education graduate program I studied the aspects of neuroscience, psychology, and social cognition that support effective learning in group contexts. While in school I started sharing an irregular email newsletter about the neuroscience of learning with family, friends, and other brain-science nerds out there. Re-launching as a seasonal series soon. Click here to learn more.
Teaching Meditation: I teach mindfulness and meditation, primarily through in-person workshops, virtual courses, and multi-day silent retreats. Most often with Or HaLev, and with an orientation toward Jewish mysticism and tradition.
Words I live by
“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”
“But art and ideas come out of the passion and torment of experience: it is impossible to have a real relationship to the first if one’s aim is to be protected from the second.”
“Friendship is so weird. You pick out a random human and you’re like this one. I want to go on adventures with this one.”
“Stay soft. It looks beautiful on you. ”
